History:

Vermont Water Utilities, Inc (VWUI) was established in 1988 as a privately owned water utility company serving several communities in the State of Vermont.

Its goal was to improve failing or poorly managed public water systems and bring them into full compliance with all requirements and regulations.

Over the years this company has improved the infrastructure of its public water systems to ensure water service was uninterrupted and water quality met or exceeded federal and state requirements.

We have also encouraged and assisted with the transfer of some of the community water systems to the city or town in which they were located.

​Voted best tasting water in the State of Vermont:

Our Georgia Station water system was voted best tasting ground water in Vermont for two years in a row.  Our water also represented the State of Vermont in the National Water Tasting competition in 2007 as the overall best tasting water in Vermont.
